JonesCo Builders is based at 4868 Highway 7 in Porters Lake. We build detached garages, garages with lofts and two-storey garages from Lake Echo and Lawrencetown to Chezzetcook, Musquodoboit Harbour, the Petpeswicks and Jeddore. Our project managers handle the engineered slab, the HRM permits and the whole build.

Every package includes labour, materials, the engineered concrete slab and permit drawings from our in-house drafting team. Most garages are built in 6–8 weeks. Financing is available for projects up to $150,000.

Building a garage on the Eastern Shore: what to know

• Coastal weather: wind and salt air are hard on buildings near the water. A metal roof and premium siding are common upgrades here.

• Rural lots: many properties have a well and septic field. We place the garage to keep clear of both and plan the driveway access.

• Different rules by area: Lake Echo/Porters Lake and Eastern Shore East and West each have their own land use by-law. We check your lot before we quote.

• Bigger garages: shops, boat storage and two-storey garages are popular on larger Eastern Shore lots. Our in-house drafting team designs them to fit.
